If you are ready and committed to moving beyond the Safety & Health Specialist certificate, becoming a CSHO in either the Construction or General Industry is perfect for you. A Certified Safety & Health Official (CSHO) is a nationally recognized program focusing on safety and health regulations and interpretations, training requirements, employee safety and involvement, workers rights and responsibilities, employer accountability, program development and implementation. This certificate program will advance your career in the safety and health profession by earning a valuable credential. With an industry recognized certification, you can be prepared for a promotion, earn more money and show you are committed to your industry.
- Transfer one (1) required course from any OSHA Training Institute Education Center outside of OSHA Region VII (Midwest).
- There is a $95 application fee that will need to be paid once all classes have been completed.
- Once you have completed all required courses - request an application that will need to be returned with application fee payment to Great Plains OSHA Education Center (IISC does not handle or process the application fee and form.)
